Back in November, ALL PINK EVERYTHING gave me the best birthday present an independent rapper could ask for: my FIRST iTunes Rap no.1 song! 

Sat at around 5am and well into the ‘afters’ segment of the night, even my friend thought he was bugging when he saw MY NAME and MY SONG in bold letters at the top of the chart! But he wasn’t bugging. At least not about that. 

ALL PINK EVERYTHING quickly became my signature song, which is crazy considering how nervous I was to release it. LINE OF ASSAULT and BATSHIT CRAZY were the two singles that preceded it and they definitely set a tone. Pink Everything still maintained the cocky bravado of the previous songs but it was softer, and a million times more bizarre. 

I thought people wouldn’t get it. But one Attitude Magazine article and a rip off from Monaleo and Teezo (Everythang Pinka, I’m looking at you) and I’ve become synonymous with the colour pink. So to have the song back in its rightful home of a top 10 position on iTunes feels full circle, and I’m so happy to be sharing this moment with both TYA LEA and itsLIA. 

One thing I said in the Attitude Magazine article that I’ll say again. If there isn’t a seat for you at the table, build your own. And paint it fucking pink.
