I began rapping in lockdown, and quickly began releasing bedroom-recorded demos on SoundCloud where I amassed over 100,000 total streams due to the success of songs like Wrong Side and Suicide Diaries. One thing that the perpetual solitude of quarantine granted me was time, and when it ended, so did the releases.
I took a few years off while focusing on my professional career, and it wasn’t until linking up with Toddla T to record ‘Missions’ that I got my flare back. Officially making my comeback in early 2025 with LINE OF ASSAULT, I arrived with a new sound. It was grittier… raw, but polished. With the song peaking at number 8 on the iTunes rap chart it became clear that amidst the post-lockdown silence, I had found my voice. Alexandru Bleu, the rapper had made his mark.
BATSHIT CRAZY AKA LONDON took things to a whole new level. This is the perfect blend of A.B as both a rapper AND artist, crafting an infectious chant-like hook with bar-heavy verses that force a stank face. This song got me my first national radio play with a few spins on BBC Radio 1xtra’s introducing shows, and quickly became my highest streamed solo song to date. 2 for 2 with LOA and BSC, and my rap abilities somewhat certified, I felt I had earned the right to drop something a little softer, more playful, more PINK…
ALL PINK EVERYTHING changed the temperature. Hitting number 1 on iTunes was confirmation that my instincts are landing and that the audience is growing with me rather than catching up late. What’s been most telling is how the record is continuing to move, now pacing to compete with BATSHIT CRAZY as my biggest solo entry to date. It’s proof that the world I’m shaping sonically and visually is starting to lock in, and that risk is finally being met with return.
The ALL PINK EVERYTHING video and its spicy remix is about to make everything even pinker, and 2026 will see the release of my DEBUT MIXTAPE… this is NOT a joke!
