The news is out! This summer I’ll be taking to the stage at Putney Arts Theatre — after (way too) many years away from performing in this way. Honestly? I can’t believe it’s been this long. Theatre was my first love, and stepping back into it feels like coming home. I’m buzzing to be back and excited to work under Geoff and Richard’s brilliant vision.
There is a sharp, funny, and moving new play by Geoff Saunders that explores modern relationships, masculinity, friendship, love, and loneliness. My character, Lucas, acts as something of an anchor between two worlds that collide, and I’m really looking forward to bringing him to life with conviction. In many ways, Lucas and I share certain lived experiences — and I’m excited to draw from those to bring something authentic and layered to the role.
Now, let’s talk about THAT moment…
As many of you have seen, I was recently the (unintentional!) star of a viral prank video, where I found myself caught in what appeared to be a black magic altercation — just minutes before my audition. Let’s just say I ran for my life… and then ran straight into the directors!
There’s a little extra lore now attached to my journey with this show — but black magic or not, There is going to be epic, and you do not want to miss it: ticket info dropping soon!
There by Geoff Saunders, directed by Geoff Saunders and Richard Seedhouse, Putney Theatre Company at Putney Arts Theatre, 20-22 June 2025
